Privacy
Vélog is built to keep your data on your device. There is no Vélog server. There are no accounts. We do not collect, sell, share or monetise any of your information - because we do not have any of your information.
What stays on your device
- All rides, photos, notes, ratings and tags.
- The list of devices you have paired, and any per-device sync settings.
- Any cached weather samples backfilled by the optional weather source.
- Your Pro bike list and per-ride bike-type assignments.
- Your Workshop bikes, components and service history.
What Vélog does not do
- No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting.
- No third-party SDKs of any kind.
- No advertising identifiers, no fingerprinting.
- No "Vélog account" - there is nothing to sign up for.
- No background tracking of your location while you ride.
Network access
Vélog only opens a network connection when you ask it to talk to one of the services below:

Wahoo Fitness Cloud

api.wahooligan.com,cloud-api.wahooligan.com) - only after you sign in with your Wahoo account. Used to fetch your completed workouts and to refresh your access token. -
Strava

www.strava.com) - only after you sign in with your Strava account. Used to fetch your activities and to refresh your access token. -
Open-Meteo

historical-forecast-api.open-meteo.com,archive-api.open-meteo.com) - only when you enable weather enrichment under Settings → Data Sources. Vélog sends the coordinates and timestamps along your route to retrieve historical weather. No identifying information is sent. - Apple Health - local framework call only, no network involved.
Bluetooth is only used to talk to a cycling computer you have paired (currently CYCPLUS M3).
Permissions Vélog will ask for

Vélog does not ask for: location while using the app, microphone, camera, contacts, calendars, motion or background location.
App Store privacy summary
Vélog declares "Data Not Collected" in App Store Connect.
Data deletion
Deleted rides go to a trash bin and are permanently purged after 30 days. To wipe everything immediately, delete Vélog from your device - iOS removes all of its private storage at that point.
